Attica – Elizabeth Mary McGlade Abernathy, 56, of Attica, died at 4:22 p.m. Monday July 6, 2009 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA on Nov 18, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Joseph James and Elizabeth Mary Sperbeck McGlade. She graduated from Attica HS in 1970 and was a homemaker. She was married to Michael D. “Reble” Abernathy; they divorced. Surviving are a son, James Abernathy (wife; Tammy) of Attica; a sister, Cecilia Hicks of West Lebanon and two brothers, Steve McGlade of West Lebanon and Joseph McGlade of West Virginia.
